Rector's Message

"Above all clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony"

With these words, the Apostle Paul commends the Christians in Colossae to embrace a new life in Christ in which they seek to bear one another's burdens and share one another's joys. It is this new life that we seek to embody at St. John's Episcopal Church in downtown Roanoke, Virginia. You are invited to be part of this remarkable community...and clothe yourself with love in this place, through worship, celebration, fellowship and outreach. Please come!

Christ's peace,

The Reverend Barkley Thompson

Rector
